ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT)-  The FBI will look into a call to the Rick and Bubba Show who claimed terrorists with the ISIS, or the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, were arrested in Marshall County.

According to Albertville Police, the caller claimed the terrorists were arrested in the Marshall County town of Douglas and had a layout of Albertville High School when they were found.   Police say this is a completely fabricated story.

“This is NOT TRUE!,” Alberville Police spokesperson Jamie Smith said in an email to WHNT News 19.  ” Chief Pollard has been in contact with the Douglas Police Department and their Chief Speight is also unaware of any such circumstance or arrest.”

Smith says Albertville Police have also contacted the local FBI office about the matter.

“The FBI is also going to investigate the phone call in an attempt to determine its origin and look into possible criminal charges,” Smith said.  “It appears that this phone call was nothing more than a sick joke that caused a small panic in our communities.”

Smith says the call was made to Rick and Bubba during Wednesday morning’s show.
